Stitch the playful charm of nature of a squirrel living in the forest. This project invites you to stitch the world of a tiny squirrel in a woodland winter. 

The technique for this kit is free stitching, which is best for intermediate users. Ambitious beginners willing to select their thread colors and stitches will do well, too. The project is free-stitch, which means that it does not have a stitch and color chart for you to follow. Instead, you are encouraged to use the pack of threads and your creativity to embroider the pre-printed cloth as you wish. 

This series was designed by Chicchi, who is actually a pair of twin sisters, Chie and Mie Matsumoto, who love to express their creativity through embroidery motifs using life-like animals and plants in a story-like setting.

This kit comes with instructions in Japanese* as well as all materials required to create the curious hedgehog design from Chicchi's Forest Animals series. Each kit includes:

• 100% cotton DMC no. 25 embroidery thread 
• Pre-printed linen embroidery cloth 
• No. 9 embroidery needle 
• Instructions written only in *Japanese, but with detailed illustrations.
